Fun Fact: Mother's is Celebrated on Different Dates Around the World
Mother's Day is celebrated on the second Sunday of May in many countries, such as the USA, Canada, most European countries, Australia, New Zealand, India, China, Japan, the Philippines, and South Africa. However, some countries like the UK and Ireland celebrate it on the fourth Sunday of Lent, which fell on March 10th this year. Most Arab countries observe Mother's Day on March 21st, while most East European countries celebrate it on March 8th. In many French-speaking countries, it is celebrated on the last Sunday of May, but in France, it is celebrated on the first Sunday of June in years when the last Sunday of May coincides with Whit Sunday/ Pentecost.
